James Island Music and Arts Festival ~ April 29 – May 1

The Folly Beach event, hosted by SoCF Entertainment and Productions, Chris John, So Cf, and JamzIsland Jonez, will feature music and art.

 

Community Day at the Gibbes Museum of Art ~ Saturday, April 30 ~ 10am – 1pm ~ Free

There will be complimentary admission and art-making activities plus special performances by the Three Dudes and the Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Children's Choir.

North Charleston Arts Festival ~ April 30-May 1 ~ Free

More than 40 performances will take place on four themed stages around the Charleston Area Convention Center complex.

Earth Day Festival ~ Saturday, April 30 ~ 11am-3pm

The festival is a hands-on science-based interactive experience, designed to encourage participants of all ages to develop a deeper understanding of environmental issues. The day also features performances by Roger Bellow, the Djole African Dance and Drum Company, the Drifting Troubadors, and others

The restaurant will provide food, beer, and mimosas, and there will be live music from Kooty and the Rollfish. Southern Sustainable Resources will be on-hand to give tips on how to conserve and preserve the environment. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Southern Sustainable Resources.

Morris Island North/South Civil War History ~ Saturday, April 30 ~ 9am ~ $30

May Day Afternoon Tea ~ Sunday, May 1 ~ 2:30 & 4:30 ~ $20

The Summerville Community Orchestra Guild hosts the full afternoon tea, with entertainment and shopping at the May Day Faire.
